First, protect the existing website
Choose an unused staging domain or subdomain where possible. Identify its document root and confirm that it does not share the live site’s folder. Publishing into an occupied root can replace the website already there. Make an independent file-and-database backup. If cPanel offers a restore point for an existing non-Sitejet site, use it, but do not make it your only backup.
Write a brief that reflects your business
Prepare the business name, audience, services, location, tone, contact details and desired call to action. State whether you serve a local area, Ghana nationwide or overseas customers. Include only confirmed claims.

- Choose AI generation when available, or start with a template if that better suits the project.
- Answer the business and design questions precisely. Review the proposed direction where the interface offers that step.
- Treat the result as a draft. A convincing layout does not establish that its statements are correct.
Replace generic content with real information
Make the main heading say what you do and whom you help. Add actual service areas, approved photographs, opening hours and contact information. Check every price. Remove invented guarantees, testimonials, awards and statistics. Confirm rights to the media you publish.
Use the visual editor to adjust sections, navigation, spacing and colours. Review desktop, tablet and phone layouts. Keep normal text readable and the main action easy to find. Check heading order, image descriptions, colour contrast and keyboard navigation. Prefer descriptive buttons such as “Request a school quotation” to repeated “Click here” links.
AI text is a useful first draft, but should not be the final authority for legal terms, regulated advice, or promises about delivery times.
Forms and external services
A form’s appearance does not prove that messages reach you. Configure the supported delivery destination and spam protection, then send a non-sensitive test and confirm receipt. Review required fields, validation messages and privacy wording.

Search visibility and launch checks
Give each page a distinct title and useful description. Check internal links and remove placeholders.
