The Options view under Select PHP Version controls supported settings for the selected CloudLinux runtime. It may not affect a domain running another handler.
Set an option deliberately
- Identify the effective runtime in the application’s protected diagnostics.
- Confirm that runtime is current in Select PHP Version.
- Open Options and record the existing value. Available fields depend on the version and provider configuration.
- Enter the required value, save and retry the original task.
- Recheck the application after any configuration propagation delay.
Read the error first
Memory exhaustion can indicate an inefficient plugin or oversized import. A timeout can come from a proxy, database or external service instead of PHP. Increasing a limit without identifying the cause may increase the resources consumed by failed requests.
CloudLinux limits for CPU, physical memory, I/O and processes are separate from INI options. A higher memory_limit does not raise the account’s physical memory allowance. Check Resource Usage for faults at the same time as the failure.
For help, send the domain, timestamp, effective PHP version, option name and redacted error. Revert experiments when the test is complete. Never send account credentials in a support message.
